Jim Shannon, Executive Vice President Development

Formerly Triad Hospitals, Inc.’s vice president of acquisition and development, Jim was responsible for exploring and assessing growth opportunities for Triad, including the acquisition of existing facilities, joint ventures and de novo projects. Prior to his appointment to the development post, Jim served as a division CFO for Triad with responsibility for facilities in Arkansas, California, Oregon, Texas and West Virginia. Prior to his employment with Triad, he served as a division chief financial officer and a group controller for Columbia/HCA and has held various financial management positions in hospitals in Virginia, Kentucky and Texas. He began his healthcare career with Humana in 1986. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He has more than 21 years of healthcare experience.
