Gary Hill, Executive Vice President and Division President

In his role as Executive Vice President and Division President for LHP, Gary is responsible for operations at Portneuf Medical Center and brings with him a career-long belief that physicians should have a representative voice and that hospitals must belong to their communities by taking an active part in them. Gary began his career in healthcare with Humana and then served as division president of the North Texas Division of Columbia/HCA, where he was responsible for 17 hospitals, eight ambulatory centers and five home health agencies—representing a total of 9,000 employees and approximately $1 billion in net revenue. Before joining LHP, Gary worked in development and acquisitions for Triad Hospitals Inc.

A native of Florence, Alabama, Gary attended the University of North Alabama where he earned degrees in accounting and economics before serving a term in the U.S. Navy.
